Where to stay and What to eat in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Hotel Neo Mailoboro
This is our hotel during our stay in Yogyakarta, Indonesia; the hotel is really near to Mailoboro Street. Design was in modern style with staffs’ cute uniforms (since hotel receptionist was using a short white hair wig haha). There’s a convenience store and money changer outside of the hotel. The room was clean and bed is soft as well as the pillows. The food is good and I like it haha! Buffet Breakfast is so yummy haha! They are offering traditional Indonesian cuisine and several dishes to choose from. Sky lounge was a bit small but it was fine since it can create an atmosphere of relaxation. Price is reasonably for this hotel.
Ayam Goreng Suharti (A legendary taste of fried chicken)
This is one of the best fried chickens I ever taste for my entire existence haha! As I remember the restaurant was built in 1980’s (yah older than me haha), one of the pride of locals because of its authentic taste. Honestly, even bones were really really tasty, if it can be eaten I would eat it too haha! This is the first restaurant we’ve tried for our 1st day in Yogyakarta and it is near in the airport too.
All the menus here are made from Mushroom (jamur), meaning that “Jejamuran” is anything about the mushroom. This is perfect for all vegetarian since they are only serving Mushroom (yes haha!). I’m not fond of Mushroom but honestly this restaurant makes me feel that I’m eating a chicken haha! Liked their “Summer Breeze” drink, it is soda mixed with juice and yes it has mushroom also haha! Plus the resto offers a fish therapy massage too 🙂 .
Other things you can check and do in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Kotagede is a place where you can buy silver jewelries up to house display. Price is depends on how big and from it’s design.
Thanks for reading! Next post will be our Bali trip! Stay tune wanderers! :*
